my standard is to support old stuff as long as possible, and to have a good reason to remove it. Legacy code usually isn't a burden for me. Your project may have different standards.

thanks for voice! I was wondering: i2p.net/en/docs/overview/tunnel-routing says "Future work: Move to 3-hop exploratory tunnels defaults.". is this done yet or still planned? seems more important now with huge botnet floods, and i think exp. tunnels allow slower routers

my thinking being: feels like 10,000s of low cost botnet routers could correlate everyone's tunnel build messages/leasesets more easily with only 2 hops
