mb3 zzz2: Another URL that you can see the keep-alive problem with: skank.i2p/hosts.txt
mb3 This will not complete: curl skank.i2p/hosts.txt -H 'Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate' -H 'Connection: keep-alive' --compressed
mb3 and finally, the output from curl at the time of the failure: cake.i2p/file/OBYH34ck2Y_p7xg4DRekclRMgqC7WrdyAIlTd4hPD_V8ut0XhVR8/keep1.png
zzz thanks mb3. It's now on the top of my list and I'm working to get set up to attempt to reproduce the server side locally
zzz please check back in a couple days
mb3 ack
dr|z3d mb3: you're right that won't complete, though you probably intended to supply an http proxy argument.
dr|z3d (or you have a proxy host setup in env)
mb3 Yes, obviously the proxy needs to be set.
mb3 It won't complete in Firefox either, with the proxy set.
mb3 And per my screenshot you can see I got _something_. I wouldn't have gotten anything if there was not a proxy set.
mb3 Without the proxy, not only would it not complete, it wouldn't even start transferring anything at all.
dr|z3d works for me
dr|z3d in firefox (librewolf) I see the full file.
dr|z3d the last entry should be smtp.postman.i2p
dr|z3d that said, there may be a difference between our requests.
dr|z3d I'm using brotli in firefox, you're probably not unless you explicitly enabled it for http requests in about:config
dr|z3d > that said, there may be a difference between our requests.
dr|z3d > I'm using brotli in firefox, you're probably not unless you explicitly enabled it for http requests in about:config
dr|z3d > network.http.accept-encoding -> gzip, deflate, br
dr|z3d > by default brotli is disabled for http.
dr|z3d if you can grab the list with brotli enabled in firefox for http, mb3, then the issue points to gzip.
