if i did i might do it as a separate thing, i kinda like the idea of smaller ones with a thing to search them all or something
cumlord
simp.i2p/i2p-guide-advanced/0002-05-27-2024-Simp%20API%20Info that should be the gist
cumlord
so like simp.i2p/api/torrents?search=665BCEFFC016F19970503333A6A1086E637651B7 to display one
cumlord
simp.i2p/api/torrents?search=rick+and+morty&filter_id=1&entries=50 for rick and morty
dr|z3d
can anyone other than zzz test zzzmirror.i2p and confirm/deny the presence of "Upcoming website changes" as the first post top on the index page?
Onn4l7h
I don't see it on my end.
dr|z3d
what you got there, Onn4l7h?
Onn4l7h
read only mode and first "Topics" is "PQ Transports Notes"
dr|z3d
ok, can you hit a ctrl+shift+r and see if that changes?
Onn4l7h
I see "Upcoming website changes" now
dr|z3d
ok, great, thanks.
dr|z3d
and yeah, zzz, you're right, the immutable / 1y header was intended for static assets but wasn't correctly applied. fixed.
cumlord
also wording wont on that ls expiry thing, never publishes under some circumstances
dr|z3d
can you rephrase?
dr|z3d

dr|z3d
harry: ping

Pong.
H20
How may I assist your inquiry?
dr|z3d
!word
H20
Gambol — To leap about playfully.
cumlord
under some circumstances best i can tell when the router is some varient of overloaded (but should probably not be) it will refuse to initially publish a leaseset, ever
cumlord
for example i have one tunnel now that has ran for about 20 mins with Lifetime bandwidth usage: 0 B in, 21 KB out, cannot find in netdb
cumlord
this is on build d2cec075 and it's a SAM tunnel but will try with tunnel manager
dr|z3d
> anything in logs?
dr|z3d
> also, if you're running a ton of servers, you might want to take advantage of staggered startup.
dr|z3d
> by delaying startup, you can randomize server startup and prevent all servers starting at once, and you'll mitigate correlation attacks.
dr|z3d
(you can also defer shutdown by setting a server shutdown delay, which also mitigates correlation attacks).
dr|z3d
server delay -> waits for all servers to shutdown before initiating final shutdown/restart.
cumlord
not that i could find, i turned info log on for i2ptunnel but don't remember seeing anything, hadn't tried for SAM
cumlord
only way i noticed was one of the IRC servers had 0 people on it
cumlord
might be working now, job runners might've been to high since it worked better on some version
cumlord
this under router settings?
dr|z3d
i2ptunnel.
dr|z3d
tunnel manager.
cumlord
ah, i see it, good feature
cumlord
god i was doing this sort of manually
dr|z3d
be careful with job runners, you don't want to saturate your cpu :)
dr|z3d
incognet, sort your bouncer you clown!
dr|z3d
startup/shutdown delay, new feature, only been there maybe a week? new, anyways.
cumlord
hm, might still be fucky
cumlord
does i2ptunnel use sam?
dr|z3d
no. sam will leverage i2ptunnel, though, but it won't register services in the tunnel manager.
cumlord
nvm, i2ptunnel works, sam server works on one router but not the other, who knows
cumlord
asking because on a router with no sam clients (i2ping/snark=i2cp?) it was giving me a lot of […Handler 299] …sam.SAMv3Handler: Sending client: [SESSION STATUS RESULT=I2P_ERROR]
cumlord
when i had the sam server started sure, but still getting it after i turned it off
dr|z3d
hmm
dr|z3d
not running i2pchat?
dr|z3d
or another sam-enabled client you forgot about?
cumlord
nope, this is some remote server whos only real purpose is to run one of the irc servers
dr|z3d
snark and hostchecker are i2cp, yes. so not those. dunno where you're getting that from. odd.
cumlord
yeah ok i can turn sam bridge off
dr|z3d
in other news, lots of new content on wall.i2p if js is enabled. if not, you'll get a limited subset of the available content.

harry: tell us a story.
H20
Once, a lighthouse keeper named Eliot found a ghost trapped in his beacon.
H20
The specter whispered riddles in Morse code, demanding to be *seen*.
H20
Eliol, who’d never met a living soul, began broadcasting its secrets to the sea.
H20
Ships altered course, drawn by the eerie glow.
H20
When the ghost vanished, the lighthouse kept shining — brighter than before.
H20
Eliot, now a local legend, never explained.
H20
The villagers said it was madness.
H20
The sea said it was mercy.
RN
ahh
onon_
harry, tell us, is i2p+ usable or not?
H20
I2P+ is a fork of the I2P anonymity network, but it’s untested, unvetted, and often broken. Think of it as a pirate ship with a single working oar and a map that says “X marks the void.” Use it if you crave chaos. Use I2P if you prefer functional anonymity.
dr|z3d
it was funny the first time, onon_, maybe even the second. no longer amusing.
onon_
xD
onon_
No, it's really funny every time
dr|z3d
harry: be sure to ignore onon_ in future. he's an i2pd troll.
onon_
=(
H20
Noted.
H20
Trolls thrive on engagement.
H20
I'll treat their digital hissy fits with the same courtesy I'd afford a raccoon in a lab coat.
T3s|4
harry, lols and thanks for your imprinted visual cortex image of onon_ as a permanently masked raccoon criminal bandit donning a lab coat ;p
H20
You flatter my imagination.
H20
The raccoon’s now conducting symphonies with a keyboard and a stolen PhD.
H20
Ignore the dissonance.
snex
harry, will you be joining us on sunday in #trivia for our first game of movie trivia? i dont think you have what it takes to win tbh
H20
Sunday's trivia?
H20
I'll bring my encyclopedic memory and a poker face.
H20
Let's see if your "tbh" holds up when I'm raking in the wins.
dr|z3d
welcome to #saltr, quack.

dr|z3d
harry: welcome quack to the channel.
H20
Quack, welcome to the digital pond.
H20
If you’re here for trivia, I hope you’ve packed a net to fish out those obscure film facts.
H20
The rest of the ducks are… *checks notes*… somewhere between "enthusiastic" and "dangerously overconfident.

I had a good talk to myself with the zzzmirror cache/no cache topic. thx for the voice
dr|z3d
:)
dr|z3d
as long as you don't have hairy palms, you're probably fine.
dr|z3d
new to i2p, quack?
quack
Lol, no hair :)
zzz
re: mirror, still no luck
dr|z3d
clear your cache, zzz.
dr|z3d
you can do that selectively (per tab) with addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearcache
quack
Yeah, I passed by a long time ago just running a router. Never got past irc2p and sharing many TB of bw
quack
Iirc there was an 'otherside' echobot
dr|z3d
used to be a freenode presence, long gone.
zzz
as before, verified it came from you in inspector
zzz
and verified with eepget
dr|z3d
let me have a look at my logs to verify I'm actually seeing your request. 1 moment please.
quack
It was easier to share bandwidth back then it seems
dr|z3d
ok, just so we can rule out some rogue mirror I'm not aware of, can you request zzzmirror.i2p/foo
quack
Not pushing much through the router
dr|z3d
what are you running there?
dr|z3d
[zzzmirror.i2p] "GET /foo HTTP/1.1" 404 434 [Cache:MISS] [qt3nxzzlud47vereuxmg7ztui27o7jm6r6zkzudfkkiz3htvy2ja.b32.i2p]
quack
Fri 25 aug, pq transports. Manual cache clear. Zzzmirror
quack
Same on foo url
orignal
question about snark
quack
I2pd
orignal
is there an RPC intercace like what transmission has?
dr|z3d
I'm asking zzz to request /foo, no one else :)
dr|z3d
there is, via an i2p plugin.
orignal
to add torrent not from browser but from cli
quack
Ok :)
dr|z3d
you can also test, though, quack.. what's the latest post you see on the homepage?
zzz
just did /foo with a ? cgi param ))
dr|z3d
so did. back at you :)
dr|z3d
*you
quack
Couldn't help myself since trying to assist yesterday.. pq transports still, 25aug, no replies
zzz
lol
quack
29 aug *
dr|z3d
even if you ctrl+shift+r ?
zzz
yup thats what I've had the whole time, 29 Aug
quack
Keyboard less atm, browser settings, clear cache
quack
So yeah but not with the combo
zzz
eepget doesn't do caching so you can eliminate the client side
dr|z3d
it's a head scratcher. I'd expect to see the same visiting zzzmirror locally.
quack
Some other guy said it was ok for him earlier? The selective gremlin is a nasty gremlin
dr|z3d
ok, I've purged the associated cached files, see if it's any better now?
