dr|z3d if i have http tunnel with mlkem768+ecies and server uses mlkem1024+ecies, which one will be used? i see irc.postman.i2p uses mlkem1024 so im curious
wew
ecies will be used probably i guess
dr|z3d
wew: 768 should be used everywhere for now unless you're only accessing a single server with the client tunnel, in which case, whatever the server provisions. 768 should be considered the standard.
dr|z3d
ideally on the client side we'd just select MLKEM and whatever variant is on the server would be detected and used, but we're not there yet.
dr|z3d
wew: short answer: no. if the server is 1024 and you're using 768 to access, you'll fail (unsupported crypto).
dr|z3d
where are these 500 commits you promised post-peepers, zzz? :)
