to all fans of Bubba: durian is hugely popular (and grown) throughout SE Asia. However, due to its, shall we say 'pungent' scent, transporting or storing durian within the confines of almost every hotel and mode of public transportation is EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED!!! And I do mean many places have large pictures of durian circled with a red cross through them! :D
