dr|z3d itsjustme: given what we know about php injection, you could probably just check the uploaded image for <php strings before doing anything else with it.
dr|z3d and any other string that might indicate some dodgy payload. .exe .bat perhaps?
dr|z3d also, cake could host a few tools, I'm thinking github.com/yoksel/url-encoder and github.com/svg/svgo could be handy to have, though not strictly php. maybe optional add-in modules that get added to the topnav if enabled.
itsjustme idk what those are suppose to do
dr|z3d the first one escapes svg files so they can be inserted directly into css.
dr|z3d the second one optimizes svg files and reduces filesize.
dr|z3d both are a roundabout way of encouraging the network to move over to svg.
dr|z3d I'm thinking we could take those and theme theme to fit in with the cake aesthetic, and add a cake navbar at the top.
dr|z3d *theme them
itsjustme this is just to make it look different?
dr|z3d make what look different?
itsjustme the page
itsjustme the site
dr|z3d just to make it look different? haha.
dr|z3d no, it's to add more facilities.
dr|z3d the url encoder can probably be reworked in php without too much effort.
itsjustme how would this be a "feature" that someone connecting to the site would use?
dr|z3d the svg compressor runs locally in the client
dr|z3d build it, they will come :)
itsjustme thats not what I mena
dr|z3d you mean what's the purpose?
itsjustme I'm very confused tbh
dr|z3d the purpose of both tools is to make svg integration in websites on the network more compelling. "use these tools, you'll have svg resources optimized for the network"
itsjustme so the site runs faster?
dr|z3d right, loads faster.
dr|z3d doubly so if all your svg assets are embedded in the css.
dr|z3d see how notbob.i2p loads, for example.
dr|z3d you're not waiting for each category icon or flag to load individually..
dr|z3d often the difference between "shit, this site's slow" and "fuck, that loaded fast!" :)
itsjustme I was confused mostly because I thought it was a feature for someone to use on the site. Like a new upload file type or somethign
dr|z3d ah, no. not quite. though a pass-thru option to upload the process content might be something to consider.
dr|z3d also, cake.i2p employs the same technique.
dr|z3d *processed
parabo dr|z3d itsjustme not_bob Ellenor
itsjustme hey parabo
parabo what's up guys"?
dr|z3d "shizzle dizzle"
parabo I got 12 new birds
parabo today
Ellenor parabo: I need to repaste my SAS3008 HBA card
parabo 2 Military Mitchel cockatoos, 2 more Mollucan cockatoos, and 2 Sulfer Crested
Ellenor its heatsink looks like it is falling off
Ellenor also, a low-noise adapted, uncontrolled Noctua NF-A9 has an unpleasant tonal noise component
parabo not_bob
parabo dr|z3d
dr|z3d mustafabo!
parabo I got Windows 10 Arm running on a C201P Chromebook, 8gb ram 256gb ssd model, full hardware support and acceleration, battery life is better than ChromeOS, and I just got off the phone with Asus wholesalers and they will sell me 10,000 devices, for $41 USD each, I have x86 binaries running with qemu-user modified to link to DLLs using a hacked together qemu/wine on windows solution... I can run Civilization VI,
parabo World of Warcraft, and all the programs I have tested meant for Windows 10 x86, on the aarch64 platform... I ordered 10,000 units and I will be further testing and improving the system. I will be selling these i7-Iris Plus Level systems for $55 and they will compete with $1200 laptops
parabo It's awesome
parabo I'm now ready to begin alpha testing of my low cost high spec laptops
nikolay_tihonov Acer Swift 3 + Arch Linux is the best in the world
parabo Arch Linux isn't horrible
parabo Acer is a shit brand though
Ellenor Isn't Acer an employee breakaway from ASUS?
nikolay_tihonov Acer Swift 3 AMD edition is cool. Everything is from AMD
parabo No, it's a competitor, that uses substandard electronic components and makes horrible firmwares, and everything other than the actual OEM chips and hardware that is not made by them is prone to failure
parabo What's so good about AMD?
Ellenor You'll include the qemu wine on windows on a USB key to avoid GPL conflict issues in your WNT Chromebooks, right parabo?
nikolay_tihonov CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx (8) @ 2.100GHz
nikolay_tihonov GPU: AMD ATI Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series
Ellenor Yeah I want to burn the mobo in my Acer case tbh
parabo I have an OEM Windows 10 image creation license already, and I will be using it, it applies to all versions, and it's Home edition for $3 or Pro for $6
parabo per copy I ship with
Ellenor I don't actually hate it, it's just obsolete

Ellenor jesus
nikolay_tihonov everything from amd, very cool
nikolay_tihonov I enjoy my Acer Swift 3 AMD
nikolay_tihonov It's way better than my previous asus k56c
parabo I enjoy my own custom hardware with custom ports and software stacks
nikolay_tihonov wow, how did you achieved that?
parabo I buy hardware either custom or I rebrand it, and I program custom drivers and kernel modules and softwares for it, and or use combinations of FOSS products, and I am making a business out of it
parabo It's basically my job when I'm not studying
Ellenor I should come to Ontario nhouldnt i?
nikolay_tihonov how much do you make?
Ellenor shouldn't*
RN aloha parabo, Ellenor, nikolay_tihonov, et al
RN big ol wall of text there nick
RN ;)
Ellenor parabo: Are your wnt chromebooks bootloader unlockableL
nikolay_tihonov i pasted output of lspci to show that everything from AMD
RN tldr
RN LOL
Ellenor May want to use a pastebin next time
nikolay_tihonov hm, I should look for i2p alternative for pastebin
parabo Well, I have Linux bootloader and kernel for it, but it's 4.5 kernel, outdated... From when I sold the same devices as linux laptops
parabo But the bootloader is part of the firmware, not a partition map or partition based platform
T3s|4 nikolay_tihonov: ix.io works well
nikolay_tihonov what do you mean under bootloader? custom BIOS firmware? or bootloader like syslinux or GRUB
Ellenor parabo: Can the loader be flashed somewhat trivially?
Ellenor Could I flash over to an aarch64 EFI if I wanted?
nikolay_tihonov flash? flash UEFI?
Ellenor nikolay_tihonov: as in flash the firmware
T3s|4 Ellenor: did you drill your case to install a fan?
nikolay_tihonov ok thx for the information
RN isn't cake.i2p a pastebin?
Ellenor T3s|4: No, just installed the fan using two silicone mounting screws and a strip of bodging tape
nikolay_tihonov I do really enjoy my linux setup on Acer Swift 3
Ellenor there was already a vent hole over the PCI baf
T3s|4 ah...nice...
parabo But I could in theory make it dual boot, although I have WSL with core isolation, no caching on processes, process isolation, and kernel isolation. Even the Windows kernel with full privs can't read or write to any part of the WSL system
nikolay_tihonov is there any way to convert 2 TB exFAT to EXT4 without middle "buffer" external hard drive?
nikolay_tihonov because drive head running like devil
Ellenor So, I added a side chassis fan to cool my serial SCSI controller, and now my computer makes a somewhat unpleasant tonal noise that it did not make with the same fan wedged in the 3.5 hard disk bay.
RN maybe add a small resistor inline to slightly slow the fan?
RN they do sell plug in ones that have a little screwdriver slot to fine tune the speed
RN my laptop fan just recently began making all kinds of racket. Need to find a teardown video tutorial for this lappy
Ellenor RN: I have already added the boxed low-noise adapter
parabo nikolay_tihonov, you could... cloud sync it!
Ellenor Cloud sync is an external HD and slower, to boot. Just use a buffer HD attached by SATA or SAS.
RN buffers are good ¿Mmmkay?
parabo Buffers are for polishing your car
dr|z3d nikolay_tihonov: cake.i2p is your i2p pastebin. or more specifically, cake.i2p/pastebin
RN No, Buffets are for singing songs.
parabo I sing songs
RN Hehe
parabo Someone on Libera is trying to argue with me about neurology, religion, communism, psychology, and economics at the same time and i got bored of writing my own valid arguments and them pasting not really relevant wikipedia or google search result quotes
parabo fucking idiots
parabo I have degrees or background experience in every one of those fields
parabo Like literally... I have degrees in every field except neurology, which I have studied the entire field of during my AI/AGI research and development
Ellenor parabo: how are you even alive? I'm crushed under an incomplete high school education and a whirlwind tour of UNIX.
parabo Adderall
parabo And caffeine
parabo Also, I don't need to study most things, just read or listen to them once
parabo so the class lectures and text books one time and I'm in the high 90's in subjects I don't find totally pointless or boring
