I think 99% of the issues on gitea are from clearnet hosting and aggressive spiders/ai-bots.

as I've suggested before, the simplest fix is just to redirect clearnet users to github.

all you need to do to bypass that is to run a headless version of chrome or whatever.

and I suspect the ai-spiders are doing this to bypass js gated sites.
