what exactly is this automatic verification? it sounds very fishy. sounds like someone is tryng to use the things from the outernet that we use I2P to get away from.

I noticed it wants javascript too. that's a major fail in I2P. notbob recently blogged about this and there are very few exceptions where you really do need javascript in i2p, and a main site is definately not one.

Js is used for multiple things mailing list, feedback widget, poll, and searching. The compromise is js is limited to self hosted things and website works of JavaScript is disabled. Not a perfect solution I agree.

that said, js, yeah, not exactly popular on "the network", but neither is it necessarily a "bad thing" when used judiciously. all a matter of trust, and robust browser js handling.
