crap. Just a sec I'll get in there and fix it

crap this is a thing I was trying very hard to avoid, the thing eating the disk space is cached docker images, which means I have to do the first part by hand because I can't auto-clean the cache because the gitlab image is stopped and would therefore get cleaned, looking at about 20 minutes I think before it comes back

just switched from vanilla `git diff` to using `git-delta` as a pager, wish I did that sooner
