dr|z3d my last response relating to release dates may have got lost in the ether, eyedeekay
dr|z3d I don't think there's any point pushing out a new release until the end of January.
eyedeekay Yeah I didn't get it and apparently my bouncer didn't see it either, thanks
dr|z3d there's nothing pressing that requires an early release, and this dev cycle hasn't even started yet.
eyedeekay Yeah just trying to get more used to doing things with a clear plan, starting with starting the discussion earlier
dr|z3d we've had too many releases lately, albeit fixes and point releases. a more predictable cadence would be welcome.
dr|z3d there's also your end of year conference that's going to interfere with things, so why not also factor that in and say the first week in Feb?
eyedeekay Honestly I probably more-or-less agree with you, this release is looking pretty OK so far and late January/early February may be quick enough
eyedeekay it's definitely quick enough for me
dr|z3d 1st week in February seems like a reasonable release target. note "first week in Feb", not "early Feb". :)
eyedeekay But I don't want to be the overriding stakeholder here, zzz participates in the release process, so does eche|on, and of course there is some extent to which we must coordinate with i2pd as well
dr|z3d sure, it's a consultative process. You state a possible date, and objections can be raised.
eyedeekay So I'm not nailing down a day, but I'm going to add first week of Feb to the forum post as a possible choice
dr|z3d great, at least that's a fixed target for discussion.
