zzz throwback thursday
zzz whats up
zzz two more SSU1 removal MRs up, for next release not this one
zzz got into it on twitter with monero, please RT
zzz eyedeekay, I thought you said there was a i2p task on ccs.getmonero.org but I don't see it?
dr|z3d feel free to summarize on ramble, zzz, if you want eyes on it :)
zzz eche|off, eche|on do we have any monero we could put up on a bounty?
zzz somebody want to write up a CCS? eyedeekay?
zzz you could just attach your last 5 years of talks ))
zzz monero guy: "if it's well documented it'll get funded in no time"
zzz so we should have done that instead of flying to Lisbon?
zzz gah they have both bounties and CCS? but 22.2 XMR is a start
zzz seems like in the CCS the going rate is 150-200 XMR for 3 months work
zzz the bounty is about GUI and bundling i2pd, but I think we should push them to SAM and away from bundling
eyedeekay Yeah I agree
eyedeekay I'm going to see what I can do to convince them, if I can figure out where it fits into their network stack
eyedeekay Probably easier to persuade people if I can offer them a little guidance
zzz the guy I'm talking to on twitter is Paul Janowitz who will be at Prague
zzz you think between the two of us we could write up a CCS?
zzz orignal, do you support domain sockets for SAM? bitcoin is working on it: github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/27375
orignal not yet, but working on it
orignal polistern also asked a while ago
orignal in two words I want to implement local sockets for all client tunnels including SAM
orignal but first I need to implement boost::stream interafce for I2P streams
orignal yes, better to use SAM then built-in i2pd
orignal back to local sockets, i2pd can talk to Tor as outproxy using local sockets
orignal in the next release
zzz ok, it seems like that PR was mainly for Tor and they just stubbed out I2P for now
zzz I leave it to you to work with the bitcoin gang on it ))
zzz interesting, that PR is a year old and got merged yesterday
orignal do you support local sockets for SAM?
orignal and yes Tor works great through local socket
zzz no, as I said domain sockets via java is really awkward; doable in theory but not worth the trouble
