eyedeekay, any way we could add a CI task to do ant javadoc with java 21?
dr|z3d
you can add tasks for different java versions, but remember that if you're building javadoc you're also building everything else first.
dr|z3d
anything different with javadoc with java 21?
zzz
javadoc build does not depend on anything else
dr|z3d
I thought it relied on compiled jsps, though I might be wrong.
zzz
yes, with every new java they turn more javadoc warnings into errors
dr|z3d
ah
dr|z3d
nothing nifty then like enhanced javascript search :)
zzz
and I think oracle is even stricter than openjdk
zzz
it's annoying
dr|z3d
I fix that by allowing javadoc to fail in build.xml
zzz
so we have an item in our release checklist to check with 21 just before release, but it would be nicer if we caught problems sooner
zzz
that's one way ))

Is there any IRC client your recommend with I2P? i was using hexchat but now its deprecated
anonymousmaybe
you*
dr|z3d
since when has hexchat been deprecated?
dr|z3d
it looks like the github repo has been put into archive mode, but there's no word there on why I can see.
StormyCloud
The repo was put in archived status last week, we use weechat on a server so we can always stay connected.
dr|z3d
someone will probably step in to keep it going. expect a fork named flexchat or somesuch soon.

hexchat.github.io/news/2.16.2.html (the final release)
dr|z3d
> This week 2.16.2 has been released. It contains some small fixes and features that have accumulated over the past two years since the last release.
dr|z3d
This will be the last release I make of HexChat. The project has largely been unmaintained for years now and nobody else stepped up to do that work.
dr|z3d
short answer, anonymousmaybe, keep using it.
anonymousmaybe
yeah i know but im not sure for how long, i liked it because its simple and easy and doesnt has tons of security issues
