justmessin hey have been out of commission for a while. anyone got a quick update on the ddos attack on i2p with i2pd? i was told it didn't affect java i2p as bad. i read the post on zzz but was wondering if anyone had a list of IPs associated. would be interesting to try and determine where it came from
dr|z3d justmessin: check the #dev channel logs on ilita via major.i2p, search for ExtraNaCl and huesos.
justmessin driz3d: moya ruski ne ochen. i vaguely understand what's being said but what
dr|z3d google.translate.com is your friend.
dr|z3d anyways, huesos/ExtraNaCl is the suspected offender.
justmessin driz3d: that's what i thought, but didn't know for sure. either he was bragging about it or providing solutions. my russian isn't good enough to determine
dr|z3d the former.
dr|z3d attacks are mostly mitigated in i2pd, i2p+ and in i2p in the forthcoming release (or trunk)
