Xeha SATA only has crc on the control lines, not the data lines.

Xeha lost my backup pool due to power supply noise (it was dying, didnt know) and it corrupted the data while in transit. so much that there was too much corruption.

Privet Xeha: I use it in threeway mirror mode too. We dont need to rely on sata crc with zfs. We have online hashes under the hood of zfs

Privet Xeha: i've made one copy on dmcrypt encryted hdds laying around, but my data are not such an expensive to do that. I believe that three way mirror of zfs will save my data. Only God can guaratee anything though :-)
