orignal: get a haircut you hippy.
snex
when i turn my floodfill on it still destroys my internet
snex
just noticed this a few mins ago. it took maybe 2 hours of uptime
dr|z3d
what build are you on?
snex
whatever was pushed this morning
snex
this is the first one that got me connected at all for longer than 5m
dr|z3d
can you be a bit more specific about what you mean by "destroys my internet" ?
snex
well, the dogshit hardware my isp gave me clearly doesnt support the gigabit im paying for, so whenever i actually get good sustained speeds it overheats and kills my internet. which is why i have fairly strict limits on my i2p routers so it should never happen. but it does happen which means the bandwidth use is going over my limits
dr|z3d
and without enabling floodfill, it's fine?
snex
i havent tried yet but i have 2 routers - 1 ff and 1 that cant ever be ff (raspi). i updated the non-ff one first and let it ran for several hours and it was fine. then i ran the ff one and it was up for ~2 hours and then the overheat happened
snex
ill turn it on now with ff off
dr|z3d
> might not be bandwidth usage per se, dunno, could just be that you're overwhelming your dogshit isp router with connections. try reducing your ssu/ntcp connection limits, /peers will tell you how.
dr|z3d
> failing that, just disable ff if you think that's the root cause of your issues.
snex_
I just turned it back on with ff off so let's see
nyaa2pguy
random question: if i'm multihoming an eepsite using java, then a client tries to download a very large file (let's say 1GB). i am guessing it's inevitable that the connection closes when client router picks up the leaseset from a different router
nyaa2pguy
picks up the next leaseset from a different router*
orignal
when you donwload that router keep sending updated leaseset
snex
no outages since i disabled ff.. but still constantly losing connection to the irc
not_bob
new I2P+ update has been much, much better!
