dr|z3d
yeah, mysterious. :)
dr|z3d
reporting 169056 right now.
dr|z3d
I think if we multiply the known ff count by 4, we'll get an approximately legit value for total floodfills, zzz.
dr|z3d
as for leasesets, I have no idea if the current estimate is vaguely on point.
dr|z3d
int ffCount = _context.peerManager().getPeersByCapability(FloodfillNetworkDatabaseFacade.CAPABILITY_FLOODFILL).size();
dr|z3d
int ffEst = Math.max(ffCount*4, 6000);
not_bob_afk
dr|z3d: We can do the math, I know how many leasesets my floodfill sees per hour, day, whatever.
not_bob_afk
That works out to roughly 900 per hour. About 700 of those announce more than 3 times an hour.
not_bob_afk
I only count unique addresses.
dr|z3d
we can do the math, eh, not_bob_afk? *chuckle*
dr|z3d
so how many leasesets do you think are hosted on the network on average, at any given moment?
not_bob_afk
dr|z3d: I can only speculate. But my rough math suggests 150000 at any given time. But, I may be wildly wrong.
not_bob_afk
The actual number is likely much higher.
not_bob_afk
Half a milllion may be closer to the truth?
mareki2p
Hi, I'm having troubles running my own I2P server (over I2CP). I'm exchanging messages with the router. R->C MessageStatus, C->R ReceiveMessageBegin, R->C MessagePayload, C->R ReceiveMessageEnd. Now I have the initial streaming packet. I answer this packet by C->R SendMessage, the router says R->C MessageStatus(accepted). So far so good. But after about 3 seconds the router tells me R->C MessageStatus(NoLeasese
mareki2p
t). Am I doing something wrong? Both destinations, my I2P server, and the client, are on the same router. The client is HTTP Proxy invoked via FireFox or via curl. I make sure the proxy is "alive" by visiting some I2P sites just moments before my attempt. I'm trying this on I2P Java non-plus and on i2pd, both with the same result, so there is high probability that I messed something up. But I have no idea what.
mareki2p
The same happens if I try to connect to my server via the SAMv3 sample application from GitHub. Do I need to ask the router for lease sets of the destination that is trying to contact me?
mareki2p
Also my server is elgamal+dsa/sha1 and the client is elgamal+eddsa/sha512/ed25519.
zzz
drz FYI you are way off on your "possible fix for 1293", look at the stack trace again, it's in your susidns mods, not snark, maybe you need new glasses too? ))
zzz
Median distance (bits):248.55
zzz
Estimated total floodfills:350
zzz
Estimated total leasesets:20912
zzz
my median is almost 8 higher than yours which is enormous
zzz
whats with all the reddsa LSes? 16% of the LSes are sigtype 11. what application is doing that?
zzz
botnet?
dr|z3d
LOL, zzz. ok, thanks.
zzz
not_bob_afk, cumlord, would you please try to classify the reddsa destinations?
dr|z3d
presumably you're logging PQ keys to the wrapper for debugging purposes, zzz?
zzz
not on purpose... where?
dr|z3d
seeing info logging to wrapper.log for "Calculated shared PQ Key: ..."
dr|z3d
router/java/src/com/southernstorm/noise/protocol/MLKEMDHState.java -> System.out.println("Calculated shared PQ key: " + net.i2p.data.Base64.encode(sharedKey, offset, 32));
zzz
thanks, an oversight, will remove
dr|z3d
*thumbs up*
dr|z3d
let's have a look at RedDSA, I have a counter now...
dr|z3d
ECDSA/P256 (1) Ed25519 (218) Red25519 (45) SHA1 (19)
zzz
only seen on a ff. nothing hitting stats/zzz
zzz
tried a sample with http, got nothing
zzz
20% of LS is enormous for some application we've never heard of
zzz
hard to say when it started, because the auto-ff fix last month dramatically changed my LS stats
zzz
our build success charts also down significantly since the release, don't know why
zzz
my guess is the new botnet that was in the news a few weeks back
cumlord
oh that's interesting, i'm not sure if i was storing that and need to update it for PQ
zzz
storing what?
cumlord
signature type
zzz
ok
zzz
I don't know of any application using sigtype 11
zzz
they're all 4,0 enctype
zzz
tunnel quantity range from 1 to 5
zzz
if you could just sample a couple that would be helpful
zzz
i checked the tixati binary, don't see them setting sigtype
zzz
haven't seen in any other bt client either
cumlord
sure i'll update it and see what i can find
dr|z3d
