if i do outbound.priority=25 for everything tunnels don't look like they're expiring randomly now
dr|z3d
hmm, interesting, cumlord.
dr|z3d
let me know if the issue appears to be totally resolved.
cumlord
i'll run for longer with more load to know for sure, normally would have something by now
dr|z3d
thanks. if it's a priority issue, that should be relatively simple to fix.
dr|z3d
(famous last words)
cumlord
irc server/client tunnels I had that option in there before, noticed those two have never expired ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
T3s|4
lols dr|z3d, on my end hope springs eternal re: that should be relatively simple to fix - right up until the reality of famous last words rears its ugly head (again) ;p
dr|z3d
:)
dr|z3d
I'll upload a new build in a moment or 3 with some tweaks.
T3s|4
great
dr|z3d
shouldn't hurt, might help.
cumlord
think it's been like this for about 12 hours, snark tunnels seem to expire still but not a big deal
cumlord
i still get "TunnelHTTPClient: Uncaught error in I2PTunnel client
cumlord
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to build tunnels for client" a lot, unsure if related
dr|z3d
if you've got a full stacktrace, would be helpful.
cumlord
just logs atm convos.simp.i2p/file/1/Shgdxb4BmVtX1U7M
cumlord
it could be something i'm doing, might be requesting too many sites at once
not_bob
cumlord: With my i2pd, I have it set to test a known good working site. If it works 1 out of 5 times in a period then the http tunnel is considered good. If it fails 5/5 times then it resets all my tunnels. This is on my machine that's working *really* hard right now.
not_bob
If I don't do that, then the http tunnel stops working after a while. But, it's variable as for how long.
not_bob
A simple reset fixes it though.
not_bob
Though, that does mean waiting for the tunnels to rebuild. But, that doesn't take long.
cumlord
maybe has something to do with that, on some things i have it test a site to open the tunnels then wait and then make requests, but i don't do it uniformly
cumlord
have it set to let them die after short time which is what it sounds like you do, then it will cycle to a different tunnel so it's always using a fresh address, but also needs to wait to build tunnels
cumlord
how many sites do you concurrently per router you think?
not_bob_afk
cumlord: I'm not sure what you mean. But, I'm hitting say 50 sites at a time, over and over again. Very hard. It can make the http tunnel break.
not_bob_afk
Well, not over and over. Each hit is not the same site.
not_bob_afk
Alas, I need to drive again. Hit me up in #scanners and we can talk more about it in likley ten hours.
cumlord
yeah that’s what I meant basically, if I do much more than 35 per router can get timeout issues
cumlord
sounds good 🚐
