dr|z3d latest + dev build has the newly minted geoip db issued today.
uop23ip does that mean i should not update, dr|z3d ?
dr|z3d on the contrary, uop23ip, it means if you want the latest geoip database, you may wish to update.
uop23ip faster?, prettier? What does it? Netdb, flags? new flags? Another country invaded? Turkmenistan update?
dr|z3d the geoip db maps ip addresses to countries. it's updated upstream every month.
dr|z3d if you haven't updated in the last few days, there's also a block for the Turkmenistan routers in the blocklist until we figure out if they're legit routers or part of an elaborate botnet.
uop23ip ok thanks. I read that they use an instagram reader app on android - did this increased the network transit (thinking of the video clips streamed)?
dr|z3d probably. it's the fact that there are a huge number of new routers on very few ip ranges that brought them to our attention.
cumlord feature request idea that could be useful to some people: copy paste tunnel configs in gui
cumlord like for sharing configs, it’s easier with i2pd but need to explain it in Java
dr|z3d you'd just share the relevant parts of the tunnel.config from .i2p/i2ptunnelconfig.d/{tunnelname}.config
dr|z3d I think we've briefly discussed before a possible method to save/import tunnel configs. I don't recall the discussion getting very far, I think orignal might have proposed it.
dr|z3d export tunnel settings with an [ ] exclude private keys option, and similar for import could be handy, sure.
cumlord Tunnels I need to duplicate I’ve done it for myself like that but never tried to share to other people, hmm
cumlord Yeah some sort of export feature could be useful for duplicating and sharing
cumlord wonder if I can just drop all the options into custom lol.
StormyCloud zzz all 30 routers should be happy now. Let me know if you see more craziness from your end
zzz thanks StormyCloud they all look good atm
RN yes a way to export|import tunnel config via an xml|json|whatever file
RN we need this
RN :)
