dr|z3d busy busy with susimail, zzz.
zzz weeks ago, just pushing from my box to yours
zzz this is the little stuff, so the big stuff in the MR won't be so big
zzz happy merging
dr|z3d haha, you're funny :)
dr|z3d what's your thinking with the login page changes?
zzz to show if you have multiple users, perhaps from previous typos
zzz may add a 'are you sure' for a new user
zzz havent decided
dr|z3d not sure I see the logic
dr|z3d that's to say, if the user doesn't exist, why not just deny login?
zzz then how do you get stared for new install?
dr|z3d you create a an account on hq.postman, and then login to susimail.
dr|z3d which is what we've always done, no?
zzz we create a new cache dir when we see a new user
dr|z3d maybe that's too early in the process, then.
dr|z3d maybe a cache dir should only be created when successfully logged in to pop.postman?
zzz maybe
zzz anyway this is a start to fixing that snafu
dr|z3d and maybe susimail can periodically check for empty user dirs and delete them if found.
dr|z3d ok, well, good you're looking at susimail again.
zzz the iframed html is fabulous
dr|z3d I look forward to taking it for a spin. you're enjoying iframe-resizer no doubt.
zzz yup
dr|z3d If I'd had my way, iframe-resizer would have featured in 0.9.31
zzz the way to do that would have been to submit a patch
dr|z3d you had plenty of patches from me round about then, incognito, remember..
zzz if you say so
dr|z3d wasn't enough time to do everything with str4d before they surfaced.
dr|z3d anyways, iframe-resizer's a game changer, really makes a difference with dynamic content. done right, the user's barely aware they're looking at iframed content.
zzz yeah there will be one MR to use it for the 4 webapps then a second one to use it for html email
zzz thats it for this batch of pushes
China Hello
dr|z3d hihi China
China Someone asked me a question today, the i2p+ he created doesn't want to use the local network to establish a connection, but wants to have a socks5 as a forward proxy to provide access network for the i2p+, should this socks5 support ipv6, is there such a function?
dr|z3d if I understand correctly what you're asking, the answer is no. I2P/I2P+ can't use a proxy to connect to the network. i2pd can, however.
China Transparent proxies are not supported as built-in, what if it's a UDP proxy deployed by an upstream router? Make the DHCP installing i2p+ go proxy by specifying the route.
dr|z3d you'd have to try it, I can't give you an answer there.
China Is i2p+ udp access or tcp access?
dr|z3d not sure what you're asking.
China When i2p starts up the network he needs is udp, or tcp, because wireguard is based on udp, if it is needed tcp then I need to deploy a openvpn-tcp on the router
dr|z3d both udp and tcp are provisioned on the network itself.
dr|z3d see: /peers for the current status of connections
dr|z3d NTCP2 = TCP, SSU2 = UDP
dr|z3d you probably don't want to set the cache-control for attachments as public, zzz. private is probably what you want.
China Another question is also one of the most asked, in the network settings, (a lot of people feedback that they don't have IPV6) if this is the case how should I set it up, is it possible to use IPV4 to take precedence over IPV6 and not have to set up anything else?
dr|z3d if you don't have ipv6, disable it on /confignet
zzz shouldnt be necessary
dr|z3d sure, not necessary, just a peace of mind configuration.
dr|z3d there's also a "prefer ipv4 over ipv6" setting, China, if you have both.
dr|z3d and it may be necessary if you're specifying the ip address of the router instead of using detection, no?
dr|z3d not necessary necessary, but advisable.
China The following tests use fully automated detection methods
dr|z3d what are you trying to tell us, China? :)
China IP-The following tests use fully automated detection methods
