o/ dr|z3d - It's great we made it to 8+! On one of my laptops, only the main panel is scrolling vertically, while the side panel remains static. No problem with the other laptop - and both run the latest FF. Not sure how this issue came to be. Is there a setting which forces the side panel to scroll in unison with the main panel?

Hi T3s|4_
dr|z3d
Regarding the sidepanel, if its shorter than the viewport, it'll get set as sticky.
dr|z3d
It's about time I had another look at it so the calculation of it's height is done whenever a sidebar section is toggled.

welcome back eyedeekay

ok, T3s|4_, I've modified the sticky sidebar code so it should release the sticky sidebar if the sidebar's taller than the viewport, otherwise it'll set it as sticky. Just trying to work out why the midnight theme's not compliant.
dr|z3d
ok, T3s|4_, new build up. it'll unstick your sidebar if it's taller than the height of the viewport if that changes because you've toggled a section. not working on midnight theme, no idea why. and viewport needs to be at least 1500px wide for the feature to activate.

not_bob: your review of retrobbs omitted to mention their ridiculous throttling. They obviously haven't bothered to change the default throttler in their i2p install.
dr|z3d
I can't get from the front page to a section without being throttled.
dr|z3d
might be worth having a look at that, eyedeekay. I do recall when zzz originally implemented throttling, it was wound so tight you'd get throttled attempting to view the eepsite help page.
dr|z3d
it's a blunt tool, in any event. nginx handles throttling so much better with a bucket approach.

sorry, not retrobbs, novabbs.
