eyedeekay: why move date to june 19th?
eyedeekay
Because there are more things which I wanted to get done before this release
eyedeekay
With another week I could probably get it in
xeiaso
eyedeekay: I looked over the PR and I noticed a few things:
xeiaso
OutboundMessageDistributor uses 0 as a xor id
xeiaso
SendMessageDirectJob has an implicit 0 xor id constructor
xeiaso
InNetMessagePool add() without xor id is commented out and should be deleted
eyedeekay
I'll look at them in the morninf
xeiaso
ok

Did anyone tried qbittorrent? It added I2P to test
dr|z3d
hi XANA. there were some people driving development on zzz's forum, but of course that's inaccessible right now. still, apparently it's working.
XANA
I mean it's added just having issue with getting it to work. Mostly cause I use ssh to tunnel to remote server
XANA
getting error about avaiting i2p-connector with SAM
obscuratus
XANA: So you're creating an SSH tunnel to the SAM port?
XANA
yes
obscuratus
That should work. The syntax to accomplish that is arcane, and prone to errors that are silient and/or difficult to trouble-shoot.
XANA
what type of tunnel I should setup? Local or dynamic?
obscuratus
I've only done this forwarding the http port at 4444, and I've always used Local port forwarding (ssh -L)
XANA
obscuratus, intresting Bigly is working fine and on qbittorrent I see DHT but tracker wont connect
obscuratus
qbittorrent has I2P DHT? That would be a huge step forward.
XANA
they added support for I2P in new alpha update
obscuratus
Bigly goes about this differently. The basically shoe-horn in the Java I2P code, and go the same way I2PSnark goes, which is I2CP I think.
obscuratus
XANA: Last I knew, the libtorrent library would connect with trackers (I've tested this and it works), but DHT would be a whole other story.
XANA
qbittorrent is still test version so for now will stick with BT
mesh
I wonder if somebody should reach out to reddit.com/r/VPNTorrents/comments/13uugqi/mullvad_just_announced_the_end_of_support_for
XANA
I2P is just perfect usecase for torrenting
mesh
yeah but none of the redditors know that
Xeha
libtorrent dosnt not have i2p dht
Xeha
*does not
Xeha
libtorrent SHOULD work again with i2p, it was broken for a long time
