zzz kinda quiet around here, let's do a bumparoo for the weekend
zzz StormyCloud, I know we tried to get your dev fleet on -10 a couple weeks ago but you landed on -8 due to a GH issue...
zzz if you could give it another try this weekend with -13 that would be ducky, thanks
StormyCloud Yes sir I can do this in a few mins
zzz not so fast, let the GH CI run
zzz how did you do on that log collection script you were working on?
StormyCloud got a few parsing issues to resolved but should be done this weekend. Provided nothing comes up
zzz super. find anything interesting yet?
StormyCloud not so far, but I want to make sure verything checks out before reporting any potential issues to you. I shall keep you updated this weekend.
zzz not expecting you to find anything but by definition anything you do find will be a surprise
zzz except for one or two things you might see on your release fleet that have already been reported and fixed
zzz I'm super excited to have a true fleet of canaries to supplement RN and postman who are usually the first to find things
zzz I do have a couple of real one-off reports from postman I haven't been able to figure out, maybe if you hit those too it will motivate me to try harder
orignal what's the concern?
orignal why shgould it afferct me?
zzz topic? thought you were on the beach...
orignal <zzz> orignal, I think I can skip a tunnel test on an inbound tunnel that has recently received data. Does that sound OK to you?
orignal I'm back
zzz oh thanks for reminder
zzz no concern or effect, just asking for advice
orignal well, you have to pick some tunnel for OB test anyway
zzz right. I'm testing now, I'm able to skip a lot of tests for inbound
orignal and yes we considred IB tunnel active if data is coming even if a tennel test failes
zzz also avoids false-failure from the tunnel test being dropped somewhere
zzz like say you were getting a lot of traffic inbound, somebody in the tunnel was dropping a few messages for bandwidth, it would be dumb to fail the tunnel that's getting a ton of traffic
orignal that's we do it too
zzz great, thanks
