snex, we are working on a new I2P website which will have a dedicated donate page/option. But all funding regardless if it comes in stormycloud.org vs I2P will to used towards I2P.

Nobody owns it. Or everybody. Check the license directory. That's who owns it. So mostly public domain with a cc0 backup, some MIT, some BSD, some Apache, some GPL. Ownership of software is defined by licenses.

Its big in the sense that, zzz and idk can focus on development and not have to worry about infrastructure, raising money, or project management. Despite I2P being an open source free project its not free to run and fund. We are here to assist the project.
