Updated the schedule thread: i2pforum.net/viewtopic.php?p=3652 short version is I don't see any reason to change the schedule right now, which has us tag freezing next week and releasing in the second week of September on the 8th

eyedeekay: re version, are we shooting for 3.0 or 2.10? I'm proposing 3.0 for two reasons. 1) it gives us roughly 1.5 years between major version hike, where .9.0 is the last release of any given major version.

Having a predictable version increment can't be understated. 2.9.0 -> 3.0.0 etc.

Typically we vote on the major version updates, historically when significant upgrades became the default behavior, and increment the minor version in between.
