OK a bunch of people who are waiting on emails from me are finally getting them today, sorry about the holdup. Re: git and long delays the only thing that changed in the meantime was the actual git package itself, nothing else.

Fair enough. As far as the server side in reseed-tools it's a pretty short, pretty unobtrusive change to implement. There are no blockers there. Routers would have to implement the client-side of course, which would require their buy-in. If i2pd is interested I'll do the server-side without enabling it by default
