more work on the rdns cache in motion to prevent file corruption if we shutdown while the cache is being written to disk.

it should self-correct in any event, but just to be sure we avoid corruption, we'll write to a tmp file first and then copy over when successfully written.

sure thing, T3s|4! it's got gradually better with each iteration. scheduled writes instead of every time a new lookup comes in, safe writes, additional info about its status on /info .. thanks for the feedback.

initially it wasn't persisting across sessions, either.
