dr|z3d got an NPE here, zzz.

zzz dr|z3d, only once?
dr|z3d just the once, zzz.
zzz ok, thanks, I think it's one in a zillion, already checked in a fix
zzz never seen here
dr|z3d yeah, smells like a rarity.
zzz basically misclassifying an unhandled ssu 1 packet as ssu2 and then matching 3 bytes, so that's 1 in 16 million
dr|z3d good we caught it then :)
zzz bigly has checked in 2.0.0 so I expect him to flip his switch soon
dr|z3d did you have a conversation with him about udp trackers yet?
zzz early this year, before I realized I'd made a mistake on directino
dr|z3d ah, right. so what's the plan now? this dev cycle?
zzz we'll see
dr|z3d ok, fair enough. obviously not super high priority then. is there any perf advantages from supporting udp?
zzz hopefully yes? but nobody running a tracker has complained about the load yet, so it may not matter much
dr|z3d more a question of suffering in silence, perhaps, or just "throw more resources at the problem until it goes away" :)
dr|z3d if anyone's got an insight into load, it'll be postman.
zzz not assuming any suffering
zzz the first thing he should do is split the website from the tracker, so if he hasn't done that he doesn't have a problem
dr|z3d not following the double negative there :)
zzz step 1 if overloaded: move website to a different destination, leave tracker2 for the tracker only
dr|z3d that's what I understood you meant. yeah, from what I gather, he's fine, but he's good a nice beefy server handling things.
dr|z3d word back is: "load average: 0,00, 0,02, 0,05" so I don't think there's an issue right now :)
dr|z3d postman has some questions for you re udp, zzz, he'll be in touch over e-mail.
