orignal, I don't remember doing any testing, and the initial checkin comments from 2009 say it was untested. I don't think anybody has ever used it

I've also done some basic tests with the standard server tunnel and microsocks proxy.

in java i2p, we don't have a specific tunnel type for socks, only streamr.
